The mock-up is done with cheap tagboard and vellum bristol board. I sketched out my characters in colored pencils, flattened the panels and digitally painted them in Adobe PS CS5. I reprinted the sections on professional grade pearl card stock. The caption is authored by me. :]
I definitely see myself working with pop-ups in the future.
